Kriegsmarine clock for sale made by Kieninger & Obergfell. The WW2 German navy clock with  typical brass case, hinged front with screwed front glass. The silvered clock dial with black numbers, eagle & swastika 'M', and '9 322 N' serial number. The case-back with most of the blackened finish, and the impressed early case number '5870' The '70' digits also stamped to the component parts. 

Condition report: Some general service use overall. The brass case with a few minor dents. Some dents present to the caseback. Dial particularly clean with a couple of marks to the field. The eagle/swastika remaining perfect. Clock in functioning condition.

Provenance: The clock was sold by the family of the ship yard worker that obtained the clock in 1945. They sold the clock to a local antiques shop on the East coast of Scotland during the 1990s. The clock was purchased from the antiques shop by the military author and researcher, Gordon Williamson, and was retained in his collection until 2007. Two collections since.
